The 2026 EFA gathering in September in Scotland
From Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th of September
Welcome to the 2026 EFA Gathering in Scotland!
It takes place from Wednesday 23rd before dinner until Sunday 27th after lunch in the beautiful woodland setting of St Mary’s Monastery in Perth.
The maximum number of participants is 35 and booking opens March 1st through completing the registration form on the EFA website. After your registration/booking, in April you will receive the information to pay the venue directly by international bank transfer (or bank transfer for those in UK).

In memoriam, Hejo Feuerstein
On December 25th 2025, a few days before his 81st birthday, Hejo Feuerstein passed away.
Hejo will be remembered by the worldwide Focusing community warmly for his being, his profound dedication to Focusing and the living process, and much more. You can read here on TIFI website more about Hejo, his life and work, and the warm appreciations after hearing of his passing away.
We, EFA people, appreciate Hejo very much for his role in EFA. He was one of the visionaries and founding members of EFA, initiating European cooperation and laying a solid foundation. Until last year always present at the European gatherings, speaking out for an open, non-hierarchical space while holding a strong vision for how to interact. The EFA gathering in October 2024 in Achberg was the last one he attended, his health getting weaker, but he remained present at EFA zoom gatherings bringing his unique qualities.
With deeply felt thanks and heartfelt appreciation for Hejo’s life and work! Rest in peace …

EFA in Vienna in June
Hopefully, many of us will meet at the International Focusing Conference in Vienna. EFA will offer a short presentation to let people know about our beautiful European network. Details are not finalized yet.
After the presentation, we would like to create a space for EFA members and those curious about EFA to come together to share. We are still awaiting more information from the conference organizing team.

Website support
Would you like to contribute to the EFA Website?
Do you have basic WordPress skills and would like to contribute to the EFA website?
At times we improve content or visuals, and at times we need to upgrade technical aspects or solve practical issues. Often the content and ideas already exist — what we mainly need is help with implementing them in WordPress (posting, formatting, images, layout).
We do have a paid professional who handles more complex technical matters, but we try to take care of the website as much as possible with the help of volunteers. Let us know at efa@efa-focusing.eu

Monthly networking meeting host
The monthly member’s meeting, open to all, (information here) is hosted by a group of six members who take it in turn to host the meeting on Zoom. One of our hosts has recently had to step back due to a change in circumstances.
Is there a member who would like to join our little group (Amona, Ruth, Gosia, Michael, Lucy) to host the meeting twice a year? It requires a Zoom pro account (or similar, to run an online meeting for a group) and a commitment of an hour, twice a year. If you’d like to know more, get in touch at efa@efa-focusing.eu.
