My background in Focusing
Having recognized the advantages of focusing 35 years ago, many years later I chose to train under Kay Hoffman (BFA) and acquire the skills to teach others, completing my Focusing Teacher training in 2017.
This path enabled me to not only develop a profound, experiential appreciation for the possibilities within Focusing but also to invest several years in delving into Gendlin's philosophical work, leading to a substantial grasp of his intricate perspective and its direct relevance to the practice of Focusing.
One of my most significant discoveries is in recognising how feeling the tangible vitality of your presence and embracing the inner suffering can foster a powerful inner transformation, enabling profound healing to occur.
Qualifications
I have a PhD from Durham university and a BFA Focusing teacher since 2017.
