You can join a one-year training or join two years:
Year-1: Focusing Facilitator or Practitioner for working one-on-one
Year-2: Focusing Teacher Training for teaching Focusing to groups

What You Will Learn

Year 1

• Offer one-to-one Focusing sessions to people new to Focusing
• Integrate Focusing into your professional field (e.g., therapist, bodyworker, teacher)
• Teach Focusing to individuals
• Naturally weave aspects of Focusing into all of your daily interactions
• Deepen your Focusing Partnership skills

This part of the training may also be referred to as:
Focusing Practitioner/Facilitator Training

Year 2

• Learn to teach Focusing to groups
• Develop your personal niche—what you are passionate about doing with Focusing

  (For those who have completed the first part of the training.)
  > Starts around April 1, 2026 (1 year)

When you are a certified Focusing Trainer, participants of your Focusing courses will be eligible to join the Focusing Partnership Networks of both:

• The International Focusing Institute (TIFI)
• The British Focusing Association (BFA), if you live in the UK

The training includes online classes with instructional materials, supervised practice, and personal projects based on your chosen interests. This blend of structured training and self-directed learning allows you to create a program that fits your learning style, interests and life situation.

Duration
Training meetings are spread over one or two years. The time to certification varies from person to person. Please find more details on my website.
