Matala on Crete recollects a rebellious, creative and peace-loving movement in the sixties: ‘Today is life, tomorrow never comes‘ is still on the walls of that lovely village. We’ ll celebrate live, while staying in touch with our being right on the spot and working on ourselves. Sitting practices, movements as well as reflective individual and group sessions will complete the menu. Always and everywhere we are back to square one: ‘Who am I?’

Celebrating life beyond egotism is focusing on ‘psycholgical materialism’ as well as ‘spiritual bypassing’ and ‘process-oriented spirituality’ in order to deal with the challenges of developing as a person in private and professional life. Gene Gendlin emphasised the ‘murky edge’ as the crucial point in moving towards the yet unknown in myself, that is ongoing accessible in the present moment. Life can therefore viewed as a continuity in change, while the personality and behaviour patterns looking forward to establishing security and reliable circumstances.
